Please share any stretches you start your day with or before skiing.

The small of my back has been absolutely killing me so I need a ns medic

I normally just do hamstring, quadriceps, calves, groin stretches. And then some arm stretches just because it's a habit from all sports. Usually I forget about stretching until I'm at the hill so that's all I do. If I completely forget until my boots are on, I'll at least do hamstring and quad stretches.

Sucks about your back. Try doing some back stretches as well as strength training exercises that strengthen your back. If the pain is from an injury that you remember, rest it and see a doctor if needed.

Look up Child’s Pose. That would probably be a good stretch for your back. I would try maybe looking up some other yoga poses for back pain as well

I know it sounds kinda hippie but i do something called Qi gong every morning.. Basically combined stretching and breathing thats a bit differnt than yoga. I didn't buy into it at first but afterwards I do have a lot more energy and my back pain almost completely went away after a week....

Call it a placebo affect or maybe the ancient chinese energy actually fixed my back pain but it worked for me.

Just try youtubing "10 Minute Qi gong excercise"

cheers m8
