More Well Know Bode or Tanner

Me and friend have a $20 bet on who is more well known. My friend claims that if you were to survey random people across the country that more people will know who tanner hall is than bode miller. I claim Bode because of Olympics and my friend claims tanner because of the Xgames. please help settle who is more well known. Thanks
 
unless you live in a ski town i think people will not know either of them

and are the x games broadcasted in the us
 
yes on ESPN, a channel most people don't turn there televisions off.

in my expierence lately alot more people know of Simon and Tanner than Bode, and i think that solely has to do with X-Games. and i contribute that to the fact that some people just dont turn off ESPN.
 
Newschoolers.com is about the furthest thing from a random sample of Americans as you could find. And the answer is Bode, without question. T Hall is Massive, but Bode is a worldwide celebrity.

I even asked these 2 kids who had been skiing since they were little and they didn't know who tanner was
 
i agree, horrible random sampling, and bode was on the freaking cover of newsweek and espn. pretty sure nbc wouldnt freak out if tanner fell during his run whereas it would be a fiasco if bode did.
 
The only way that Bode might be a fag lord is if maybe, throughout his years of being a globetrotting ski hero, he has slain so much puss that he's just tired of it by now and he wants to experience something new.

you have two biasse's there:

1. in the states bode is way bigger of a star than in canada or anywhere else in the world

2. this is newschoolers
 
Bode for sure, he just seems like so much more of a household name (except for NSer's houses) and he got a lot of attention for partying and fucking around before his races in the last olympics.
 
bode b/c his olympics and stuff. but if halfpipe was ok'ed for the olympics then tanner would be really well known cuz new things in olympics get a bunch of hype
 
Probably bode in general. But if i asked anyone at my school if they knew who bode miller was they most likely wouldnt. But lots of people would know tanner.
 
People would recognise the name bode more for another not so good reason i guess....did his cousin not shoot a cop?
 
Bode obviously. dont hate on him because you dont know him and he can ski better than you can. my ski house is a couple houses over from him and hes actually a really cool guy. if you consider owning every single audi ever produced, being a multi millionaire, one of the best skiers in the world and boning playmates gay, then sighn me up.

Bode is obviously far better known worldwide.. outside of the US and Canada only a freeskier will have heard of Tanner but loads of people will know Bode..
 
i am from europe and the answer is bode for sure, for his results and for his party skills too... only ppls watching ski movies known tanner...

TEAM AMERICA! who else can compete in the olympics drunk? then doesnt want to conform to usa regualtions and makes his own team "team america"
