ive been on tangent lately with timelapses, and ive been getting most of my feedback here. so heres another 3 from my vacation for the 4th
im guessing there will be color banding/blame vimeo

how many frames/sec did you use for the video ?

and what was the time between shots ?

Digging the timelapses (I love star timelapses).

Only critique I would give is crop out those car light frames (guessing thats what they are).

A quick mask and replace with a previous frame without the car lights would work best. Might be able to just take out the frame entirely.

the timelapse of the first sunset was 60fps, sped up 250 times in fcp. intervals were 30 seconds for the stars/2 seconds for the sunset
and thanks bentley. i do like the constructive criticism. i dont get much so thats what i was hoping for. i do want to try and mask that out. its a good idea. ill have to work with it more.

For sure dude.

And remember if you ever add movement in post (like a digital zoom), that you do all your masking and corrections before you add the movement.

thanks man. im almost considering starting to invest in some sort of motorized equipment for a true dynamic timelapse. but im a broke college kid with a shitty job and i cant imagine any of that equipment being cheap
