Two things about this video:

1. He clearly said it looked 'as if' there were detonators. Why would he say this? Because if I'd said 'well, it looked like two planes flew into a building' before Sept. 11th you wouldn't be able to form an accurate mental picture would you? But everyone's seen a building demolished, so it's a good analogy.

2. There is a reason why it looked like that. The heat from the fuel burned the internal supports in the WTC, which caused it to buckle. How do you blow up a building? You place explosives on the internal supports. So the explosions and subsequent burning of the planes simply caused similar conditions.

I can't believe I even wrote a response to this. Talk about warping a guy's comments.

1.) it raised national pride

a.)as soon as the pres. does something to counter such an attack the whole country gives praise.

b.) more support behind a war, *cough* iraq *cough*.

2.) the economy was not ruined, bush did that mainly with his military spending and tax cuts

3.) it took some weight off of other major problems like unemployment, below grade public education in many areas of the country and the overall state of the failing economy and the huge deficit.

these are just some things i thought of off the top of my head. if i did some research i bet i could write a book for you. peace.
