More on moguls

Since there was an earlier thread about skiin' moguls: Can someone who's ridden mogul skis outside the bumps, like all mountain, pipe/park give feedback on how they worked, or didn't work? Thanks

i compete, mogul skis are sick for carving, but that probably in contrast to my park skis which are so dull

I'm ridin rossi moguls, have a pair of head madtrix moguls too. Both skis have some side cut. Switch is fine on the rossis. Not so great in pow but then again all the greats, Scott Schmidt, Plake ripped on narrower skis back in the day. A good skier can ski the whole mtn well on mogul skis.

Agreed, Rossi moguls were the sickest ski EVER. - but they break really easy. You can ride any ski the moguls. I have a pair of K2 mogul skis - Lava Lamps but I would only use them if I started competing again. Park skis work just fine in the moguls. I totally think you have more control in the moguls on park skis cause they are heavier - Just my 2 cents man
