hey guys, so we went up to the hospital to visit cr tonight. i was un able to bring all the wonderful things you guys said tonight cause my printer isn't working :( but i am going to print them off tonight. CR's parents are soo happy that all of you guys have been so supportive, they had no idea he was so loved in the industry and have gotten stacks of emails. they want to get as many comments as possible from you guys to put up in cr's room, and are so happy so many of you have already thought of their son. they know you are all praying for him and that he is in your thoughts and they hope you continue to do these things.

we were allowed to go in and see CR and he already had cards and pictures up on his walls and his parents hope to cover the whole room with your comments.

He looked really good, he was a great color and was very peacefuly sleeping. we held his hands and talked to him, i know he knew we were there. His mother was in high spirits and was handling it all very well at the time. she is so happy that so many people are supporting CR right now, and thank you all.

please continue to keep CR in your prayers, he is going to make it through all this he just really needs your guys's help!
 
can you show us his room when its all decorated??

i first saw cr is yearbook like last year and what caught my eye were (in my opinion) was his beatiful 3s, so nice just thought id say that
 
ya i will try to, i am going out of town for 3 weeks, but after xmas i am sure it will be full of things and i will take a picture if i am alowed to.
 
cr is the man. if anyone can pull thru a devastating setback, it's him. hey skibrdingbitch, what's your connection to him just out of curiosity?
 
i actually don't know him too too well, i know him through tanner and from chilling in whistler and i have known kye for years. and grete has skied with CR for years, and we are both here at the u of utah so close to the hospital. even though i was not that close to CR i still want to be there for him and his family, i am fortunate to be so close to him and i want to help be a connection with all of you guys and him.
 
my comment was in no way in disrespect to CR or what you are doing either skiboard...just an observation
 
just curious, who should I be praying to? I would hate for someone to actually call on God in times of trouble and deny Him when things are good

anyways... The Johnsons have so much strenght behind them, CR WILL get better... he will shred many many more days...

so what usually happens when stuff like this happens, does anyone know? i know it might be a while before he can ski, but how long, and what kind of effects?

actually hold off on the mail for a sec, i think his parents wants everything send to the hospital from the impression i got yesterday, so just wait a sec to mail stuff
 
hopefully he gets better. maybe just maybe he is thinking of a glorious pipe run or something along those lines in his state of sleep.

from what i understand, they took him off the drugs that induced him into it...so as of know i think he is in a coma =(
 
In some cases I would be pissed at people who would do this kind of thing because of the person that is in the hospital... But this is a very big exception. Thanks for giving us an update on him and his family and going to see him to support his recovery.
 
when you are medically put into a coma by doctors to help the healing process. instead of naturally going into a coma, its less severe. but still nonetheless, not god
 
is there an email address we can send some messages to? in addition to writing stuff in the sticky thread?
 
Its a tough one for the industry...I just want to seem him make a full recovery physically right now!! No matter what condition he is in, he will obviously be involved with skiing.

I just hope he pulls through quickly, not only for his sake but for that of his familys and kyes!!
