More new c-op stuff?

SO I heard C-op is getting a burton canadian open.

I 'heard' it from a credible source.

what it means really is that we get bigger jumps and new jibs.

does anyone know anything about this? and if so, isnt it the greatest thing since an 18 foot tall superpipe?

another good thing is the fact that they are widening the walls of the pipe (better for cutting/grooming) they are also doing proper grading on the pipe earth so that building will be to exact specs. bad thing is the park will be open later as they will be changing the features to be smaller after the comp

I love c-op, but it can always be better. a more correct pipe would be super too!

yeh and what do you suppose the criterion should be that a person should be allowed in the park?

^ be able to ski in control, not get in the way, dont ski down the middle of the halfpipe snowplowing, dont jump off the side of rails, pretty much ppl who dont have a clue whats going on shouldnt be let in, thats why theres the little park. like if ur trying to progress, by all means go into the big park, but dont be a grom about it and know ur park edicate

Yeh, those were pretty much the conditions to get in last year, the park staff just got really lazy after a while and didn't even try to maintain these bare minimum standards. If they did however, that would be a different matter.

The minumum standards required were the ability to ski a piece of paper from the top to the bottom of the hill and have the intellingence to fill out a form and have your picture taken.

the best part was that the people who did park patrol and actually were in the park knew who should be in there or not when checking at the top, it was the 14 year old girls who were super anal about checking for park passes haha

^they built it up to 23 feet because of the warm temperature we were having, so like a week after itd be about in the 20-22 foot mark
