More guitar help pease

their all power chords, like the first one make a bridge at the 5th fret with your index and with your middle/ring fingers push down on the D/A strings at the seventh fret... thats a Am power chord

Well each line stands for a string the BIG E standing for your low E string and so on. Then the numbers are the fret. Just go finger by finger until you get it. Pretty much really easy bro. And yeah those are bar chords so your going to have to put your index finger all the way across the lowest fret of the chord, then cover the rest with your other fingers. If your a noob it might be kinda hard, takes a lot of finger strength.

i dont understand how to tell like what order any of those number go in... how can you play a song and know the order just from that?

tabs like this one just tell you the chords, they don't tell you the rhythm or anything, you just gotta know the sound and know how it goes. Honestly, i wouldn't start with a song like that, you need to learn regular chords before you start doing bar chords

its really not that hard to understand.....

the bottom number is your low e string fret number...and all the numbers above it are the corresponding notes in the chord on each string.

yeah i understand that i just dont know how to tell how the order goes like how to actually play the song(im just using this as an example im not trying to play it yet)

it goes in the order that the chords are in on that page, you just strum more times on some of the chords than others, thats why you have to listen to the song first, it's simple.

They're chords. Barre chords to be exact but that doesn't really matter to you at this point I guess. Hopefully from this you've gained that since all the notes are stacked(?) I guess you could say on the tab, you play them at once. As for how many times you play each chord, and the strumming, you have to get that by ear. If your new to this I would suggest downloading a program called Powertab Editor. Just google that. Then once you have that look for only the type of tab "Power Tab" when you search on ultimate-guitar.com. Once you've downloaded whatever tab it is you want open it up in Powertab Editor. It will give you a really easy to read tab, and you can listen to the program play it. The only bad thing is the notes don't sound realistic. Hope that helps.

Also if you're a beginner, which it looks like you are, you should go with some easier songs first. Switching barre chords quickly is hard.

thanks for the help guys...

if you plan on keeping with guitar, or are planning on getting good at it. go out and buy a book that will teach you theory... tabs will get you nowhere unless you have a well developed ear that can pick up the countless imperfections on tab websites and also will allow you to hear rhythm correctly thus being able to play correctly.

if you just want to know how to play songs, then keep doing what you are doing, but if you want to learn how to play the guitar, get a book or some lessons

yeah i have been considering that because i want to actually understand the instrument

any more help would be awesome thanks guys

understanding is more than half the battle. I've had a guitar for like 8 years, and i am willing to say that i'm pretty good at it, i can shred... but i taught myself everything and don't actually "know" how to play guitar, i can just do it. If i could go back in time i would have taken lessons or taught myself from the ground up rather than learning through practice and experience. The past two years i've been teaching myself more theory and gaining more knowledge about the instrument and my abilities really improved a lot faster while learning instead of playing

yea learning how to read music is defiantly better than tab. but for a tab you need to know the song your trying to learn fairly well because there is never a good depiction of the rhythm in a tab.
