More 1080 questions

i was wondering if anyone knew if the 2003 1080's are a good ski for some backcountry use. I live in ontario(dont laugh), but im going to panorama for march break, and ill be skiing some pow, and i was wondering if they would be good enough. And what binding should i use, perferablby from salomon cause i can pro deal through my work

Is promodel stiffer than last year rossignol free XXX? Would free XXX be good for me for park skiing? I'm 5'10' and 140.

 
The 2003 1080 is about the same dimension as the old Salomon Super mountain which was their backcountry ski a few years ago. As for the binding the S912ti 1080 is the way to go for performance and weight
