Moral question

If you come across something valuable just sitting in the street is it alright to take it? Example, yesturday I found some googles that were randomly on a ledge by my moutain. There was no one around and I could see prety far. my guess is someone dropped them or something but i duno. what do you think? someone else would have taken them quickly if i didnt

^Dick.

I would take them to the lost and found. Same thing I do when I find cell phones or keys and stuff at the mountain.

it depends how sick they are and if you need them... if they are sweeter than yours, take then for sure... if you dont really need them becuase you already got some dope ones, lost and found that shit

turn it in......

i have turned in tons of stuff i have found at the "hill" wouldnt you be really pissed if you dropped your goggles, and some kid on NS took them...

06-07 ski season I was looking for my friend at my hill so I left my skis outside and went in my condo to see if he was there and he was so I sat inside and watched some ski competition on tv and forgot my skis. The next morning I got all my gear on and then realized my skis were gone. Long story short a cool ski instructor took my skis and hung them up near my condo. I met the kid a few weeks later because he recognized my skis and he said he saw the groomer coming up. I am expecting a "cool story hansel" for my story but that taught me to not steal other peoples shit.

If you are a man of principle or morals then you shouldn't take goggles no matter how sweet they are. If you just don't give a shit about being a good person then go ahead and take them.

take them to lost and found, but if you like them a lot then talk to the people and give them your name so you can come back in a couple days and if they haven't been claimed you get to take them.

if you had asked me this a year ago i woulda said take em. but 3 months ago i lost my wallet with $250 bucks at northstar and i assumed it was gone. 2 weeks later i got a call from a ski patrol that someone found it and turned it in. it felt good to know that there were still good people around.

so i say take it to a lost and found. just think what you would want someone to do if they found your shit.

Of course I would take it.....

To the lost and found! I've had a ton of stuff that I've lost turn up there, and if I lost a pair of goggles, then saw someone selling them on NS a few months later, I would be fucking pissed. What goes around comes around, don't be a dick.

i had dropped my phone in the park at nigchusett last season i assumed it fell outta my pants. i went home all degected and what not and then at like 330 am my moms phone rang and it was the cat driver and he was like hey dood did you lose your phone and i flipped i was sooo happy. he was a wicked chill guy. he was sayin how if he lost his hed be pissed so he wanted to get it back to me.

i would probably take them because my goggles are shit and im poor.

but if you have money for good goggles you should take them to the lost and found

if it's at the hill, i would return it.

if i'm walking down the street and see a wallet, shit's mine. i guess i just have more respect for skiers than most likely some asshole that lost his wallet...

What goes around comes around.

I found a wallet on the hill with about $100 cash and a bunch of cards, but took it to the lost and found. Thought i made such a stupid move after, until later in the year I lost my oakley sunglasses, my keys, and an ipod all at separate times, and it all came back to me.

i found this guys wallet on the hill one day with 150 in it. there was a phone number in it so i called and it was the owner. i met up with him the next day and he game me 25 bucks for being a good person. so lost and found that shit

same thing for me. i would have probably said just take it.

but 2 months ago i lost my iPod at the YMCA. needless to say, i was crushed. some kind soul turned it in. its all about karma man. and im not talking about shitty, pointless NS karma. real world karma. best believe it exists.

moral question:

i find YOUR stuff, you dont know it

do i take it. or bring it to patrol, whrere you conveniantly happen to notice it is missing, to find some good samaritan found it and returned it so you have many more years of enjoyment out of it...

so, wat do you think now?
