Moonlight VS Big Sky

As an MSU freshman I'm trying to make the choice between mountains for my upcoming winter. I've ruled out Bridger because they just don't have enough of a park, and I really need my fill for park sometimes. The Moonlight pass is $350 and big sky is $600. Last I heard Moonlight had the best park around, but I didn't know if Big Sky had any intention on stepping it up this year.
 
They're both fun mtns, I'm partial to big sky myself, just more terrain and more homies to ski with. if you really like having the whole mtn to yourself go moonlight but big sky on a crowded day still isn't anything like a colorado mtn. if you wait in line more than 10 min that's a huge anomaly. and big sky's park is still fun as hell.
 
There are some pretty long threads on this subject if you can find them, but without going into detail I would advise Big Sky hands down.
 
I've ridden both resorts for years and love Lone Peak. This place is sick! I may be a little bias though since I work and live here. If $$$ is an issue and you have to choose between the two, I'd suggest Moonlight. The Zero Gravity terrain park crew is solidhttp://bit.ly/Sseg2c , and those guys get features up and the 5 parks open first thing. They are always changing things up and creating new features as conditions allow throughout the season. There's a reason TSP comes and shoots here every spring. Moonlight is committed to having the best parks in the state. As for the rest of the mountain... I can tell you how bad a$$ the Headwaters/N. Summit are and that you can ski pow and send it for days after a storm until I'm blue in the face, but you just really have to ski it to understand. It's about as good as it gets in-bounds.
 
I was simply making the point that Montana is not known for its parks at all. And if you are are living in Bozeman, in College, Bridger makes way for sense for a pass. Cheaper...right outside of town. No question.
 
Except not really, because while bridger might have cheaper passes for those under 18, once you turn 19 their price goes to $580, which puts it on par with Big Sky. Moonlight offers college passes to, and it's actually the cheapest of the three.
 
Shit you have four years. Buy a lone peak straight off the bat and ski the shit out of both places freshman year when your classes are cake walks. If money is an issue then go with Moonlight and ride the headwaters or the park. Bridger is sick on a pow day for about two runs, and your chances of dying there are looking to be very good considering the avalanches last year.
