Not sure if a thread has already been created for Moonlight... but has anyone been up this season? Tomorrow is turkey day or whatever, bring a turkey or 15 cans of food and ski for FREE!
unfortunately, I have my last final and work at big sky in the afternoon.
Anybody have any info on the snow? terrain? park features?
 
yah some buddies of mine brought up the 15 cans of food or whatever and said their park setup was pretty rad... but i haven't been over there yet. i can't wait til moonlight gets the whole park set up, shit is so fun.
 
moonlight was cold today. but i like the setup this far. hopefully they can built some legit jumps this year
 
it goes flat box,propane tank, up box, rainbow box, flat box, long flat box, really long lift tower down rail, propane tanks, flat down box, corregated flat tube thing, down box, really fun set-up they should be getting more stuff in all the time too
 
i forgot to mention this in the big sky forum......Montana Rush is the biggest joke to movies i have ever seen. stop making movies because they suck.

haha im sure I hate rap music is about as bummed about not making the MT Rush video, as he is about not starring in Broke Back MT.... Anyways anyone know a good place where I can get a few of those really Tall T's? So ganster... sooooooo gangster.
 
went to MLB today for a few hrs at the end of the day since the jumps at big sky are still incredibly hard to get speed for... moonlight has such a sick set up
 
i was only able to clear the first two jumps...then i cased the third by like 5 ft. looks like a really fun line though if you could get speed.
 
yah, lately i've been avoiding the 1st one all together, boosting the 2nd one and then you can huck the 3rd one... which is nice, cuz it's real lippy, pops you up realll nice. hopefully this weekend's nice weather will make for fun jumpin
 
i might forget some stuff but moonlight has:

flat box, small table, Rollercoaster box, the missle looking barrel set up moderately up, up box, rainbow box, 2 c boxes, urban style down with stairs, barrels galore, up down box, 30 foot ish down lift tower rail, wall ride, barrel-gap-barrel with about an 18 inch gap or so, flat down (10 foot flat, 20 foot down i think) 30 foot ish up super mellow up down rail and three urban style down rails set up right next to eachother (single barrel, double barrel, box). I might have missed something but theres moonlights rail line for the most part in order i believe
 
I was up there on Saturday with a couple friends. It was my first time there and I think that was the most jibs I have ever seen in a park. They were all super fun. The coverage was super shitty though. I don't know why you would build a resort on the windward side of a mountain....

Whats the easiest way to access moonlight Basin from Big Sky? Do I take the Ironhorse Chair and then sneak in? I want to poach bcoz I dont want to spend extra money on lift tickets for Moonlight.
 
yah, it's easy to do, but make sure you're on top of your game when they catch you... use the old 'oh isn't big sky/moonlight the same? i can't ride here with a big sky pass??' excuse. and be sincere, make it count. cuz if you don't you'll probably get in some trouble. i got busted hardcore hiking features in their park, but they believed the BS story i made up and sent us back to big sky.
 
they redid some stuff in the park, up flat, down flat down, wide up box, still dont have everything back together after the rail jam but its alot of hits still
 
anyone wanna give the full rundown on whats in there right now? i might be payin for a ticket there one day this weekend.

Snows gonna be deep friday and saturday but im thinking sundays gonna be a nice warm park day so what do they have set up?
