(Im not even going to bother to post in regionals since its always dead)

So hi.

Im going to be in Montreal next friday (29th) for a layover so why not take advantage and party it up. We land at 12:30am and our flight to Punta Cana is at 7:45am. My friends and I just plan to pass out on the plane so no worries there. I have a couple of questions though:

1. I know that some bars close at 3am, but what are some decent bars that are open later? (I realise that they will stop serving alcohol around 2)

2. Any other bar recommendations that are a must-see?

Im also aware that they wont let you on the plane if you are drunk or even smell like alcohol but we got that covered ;). Im going with a senior trip company so they are pretty lenient. And yes, my friends and I are all 18.

Quebec bars are sketch, but pretty chill. There will be a shit load of people cuz schools out and the drinking age is lower, so itll be crowded which is good or bad depending how you feel about it.
 
lower drinking age=more people in bars = more bars... but yeah you're going there a friday so it's going to be crowded anyway.
 
quebec bars are in no way sketchy, especially montreal ones. for bars, stay in the crescent street area and try and find a terrace, like winnies or something. you can also go on st laurent and find some ok bars but you will find nice clubs. walk a bit firther to st denis street and youll find some nice but expensive bars.

if you feel like dancing, why not go to an afterhours? circus and stereo are amazing afterhours clubs, so you can party til 4 or 5 and then cab to the airport.

go to bifteck on st-laurent. mckibbins and olde orchard are over there too and decent. what else? vol de nuit on prince arthur, salon officiel on roy, distillerie and reservoir are both cool. i always loved arahova on st-viateur for awesome greek food and 20oz molson export pints for 5$ which is a serious deal in montreal. all bars close at 3am. boite a karaoke and sports station are fun on ste catherine too over near concordia. they both have 4L pitchers of keiths for like 20$ and sports station has bud taps at some of the tables and they only end up costing like 2.50/pint if you go with a lot of people.
 
thanks!! we will most likely want to dance so circus and stereo sound perfect when the bars close. i cant really think of anymore questions but ill pm you if i do.

as for @Dosh , im going with my girlfriends and even if the guys came, they would want to dance too. but thanks anyways! maybe ill check it out later this summer ;)
 
iv heard circus is wildest. go to st. sulpices for the dopest patio chillin. thats about all i know
