Montezuma Bowl

Does anyone else think that it's a shitty investment? It faces the south so it gets hardly any snow and its always wind blown

I haven't been, and I don't know if I will considering everyone who has ridden it says it sucks ass. They said the same, windblown and shitty snow.

its ok, i went yesterday and i guess i expected a little more. if you got off the lift to the left and hiked a little it was pretty dece

It reminds me of a "Copper-style" bowl. It's Ok at best, there are some small rocks to hit, but can't complain since it spreads everyone out more and there's limited parking at A-Bay.

Yeah, I was there last week and the snow really wasn't that good, super wind blown and lots of rocks, average.

ok i take back what i said. i was there yesterday and it was amazingly deep and fresh. those rock outcrops are so fun

I was there today, the bowls were'nt the best, but in the trees it was epic, since it does face south, i'm sure on a fresh day the bowls are insane and the terrain looks epic. But in the trees on the both outside corners of the bowls it was so so sick! not the steepest on the east side, but tons of little pillow lines and fun little drops. I even found this knocked down tree you could launch through two trees and do a field goal type thing. I would reccomend heading to the trees on any day!

Does it seem like it's gonna hold snow? Seems like it might be pretty rough since it is south facing.. and all that stuff seems to be melted out most of the time.

When I was there last week it had just dumped 5 inches at Abasin and it was beautifully sunny with hardly any wind... so thats the catch I think, hope for no wind

i thought it was fun, there was good snow when i went... hiked up hit the cornice then there were plenty of rocks/cliffs to have fun on...
