Montana State

Bozeman is the shit. I was born here though so I'm kind of biased. MSU is pretty chill too, I have met a lot of cool kids and there is usually some good parties going on.

i dont know much about the school but i lived in Bozeman for a year and a half and really liked it. the town itself is pretty cool, good restaurants and bars and gear stores and coffee shops. great biking trails. and the area around the town is awesome- tons of mountains and trails, kayaking and fishing and climbing. i think its a great area.

yeah i just got accepted there too, im from pa tho so ive never been to bozeman ive only been out to big sky a few years ago... hows the school with parties, girls, ganja???

school is pretty sick. I'm an arch major there, real sick town, like they said, good biking, skiing, basically anything outdoors. You can find parties basically whenever you want, it's pretty chill

If you want to go to a college where you can ski go here. The college is pretty tight and there is always shit going on. The girls are kinda gnar and arnt many but, who cares when you can ski.

Big Sky has huge runs and tons of really sharp rocks. But yeah, lots of big lines and not many cliffs.

Bridger has lots of technical terrain and not a ton of good stuff you can access without working for it. They also get huge storms that Big Sky can't ever match, but the lift lines tend to get big on those days.

The backcountry in the Bridgers, up Hyalite, and around Big Sky is really good.

Don't come here to ski park. Occasionally Big Sky's will border mediocrity, but Bridger just has a couple little jibs that would be fun for about an hour on a shitty day.

That's my quick synopsis of the area. If you need any more information feel free to PM me, all I'm doing is hanging around the house until school starts.

me and some friends were at bridger last weekend and your park rivals showdown's park. but bridger is fucking sick. i scared the shit out of myself in this chute my friend called the phone booth.

^haha thats awesome Phone booth's ok, but you should see the tighter shit like Sixth Grade or Saber Slice, the're longer steeper and tighter. Problem is, they're not filled in yet.

Go to MSU. Once you discover the shit on the ridge you'll never go back.

is it the one right to the skier's right that empties into the same exit chute or further over? i plan on coming back down there at least once this year when you guys get more snow.

As soon as you get to the top of the main part of the side step, drop in right above the cliff rope. There will be a funnel that the snow runs down, and a small outcropping you can stand on on the left side. Get onto that, jump off, and go straight. There will be a 5-12' air out the bottom depending on snowpack, and two big boulders in the landing in low snow. Every time I've gone to do it the snow has been either really tracked or manky, so I can't claim that line yet.
