Montana State VS University of Montana

I am pretty positive that is only on weekends and it picks up at the fairgrounds. Which is a mile or two from campus.

Come to Bozeman. Check out as many other mountains in the state as you can too. Its really fucking dumping in Whitefish/Flathead valley. A couple feet in the last two days :)

more like 5 minute walk, and 40 bucks for 23 rides to a mountain that is 50+ miles away round trip is extremely cheap.

Bus where im from is 15 bucks roundtrip for a hill 16 miles outside of the city on a mothertrucking school bus with methhead drivers.

Here its literally like 2 bucks a ride if you plan ahead on a transferable card. The bus is a Charter Bus, with pretty chill drivers, leaves at 6, 7 and 8 every day with a 7:30 bus on Friday Saturday Sunday. And the return buses that are at 3:15, 4:15 and 5:15 daily. Plus the return trip is "free" so its free to take back just in case you get left at Big sky or something.

More relation to the thread, you have Big Sky, which is an extremely legit Mountain for the price of a Pass. 600 bucks for what is it, oh yea 3,832 Acres of Skiable acres just in Big Sky, Not to mention the 4000 Ft of vert gain and a tram that goes up to 11,000 ft. Big Sky has Bowls, Tree Skiing, Chutes, Powder, Groomers, Decent Park, Jump Line, and pretty much anything you ever wanted to ski on a mountain all in one place. It is an amazing mountain with great skiing, might be a bit rocky depending on the snow and where you go but its a crazy good mountain.

Bridger is a fun little mountain too, not sure much about the buses or how really things run over there since I have a big sky pass, but if you're 18 or younger you can pick up a junior pass for 300 dollars. Bridger is like 20 minutes outside of Bozeman, and usually get puked on when it comes to snow and when you have a beacon it makes it even more fun. When you add on all the terrain around the Bozeman Area, you have a hot spot for earning your turns.

Still it doesn't pick up right in front of the dorms and isn't free.

It is pretty convenient if you ride Big Sky and are living in the dorms though.

there's a 6, 7, 7 30, and 8... and a 5 10 and 5 40 if you can get to the mall.

at 40 bucks for 23 roundtrip rides, it's a cost of 1.73 for each 100 mile trek. that's HEAVILY subsidized.

it would cost you 55 dollars for each trip if you drove it yourself (federal mileage rate=55 cents/mile and includes gas, depreciation, and ensuing maintenance costs all averaged out)

I was told the 53/47 guy to girl ratio when I went to orientation.. it's complete bullshit, unless every female went into hibernation.

Yea, there are quite a few bittes on campus, and quite a few of them are good looking. I heard this freshman class was more 50/50

bozeman has fucking nothing from this storm except mad wind. MAAAD wind. The headwaters at moonlight have been rendered unskiable and i'm assuming the same for the tram

I'm 10 floors up in the dorm and you can hear the wind with the windows closed. and if you open it a crack, all hell breaks loose

Look around campus, it's pretty accurate. Most girls just don't go get shitfaced at house parties or at the bars.
