Montage Mountain in Scranton PA will be sold to a group of investors from Phlly, the mountain will be known as Sno Mountain. Updates and renovations, Lodge totally re done and new wings added, High Speed lift top to bottom, 200 new snow guns, terrain park tottally re done on different trail with new rails, gap ons and professionals will come in and help the park, 3 new trails, another lodge built over on the north face area for the north face skiers and the new snow tubing complex over there, halfpipe, 2 new groomers, and then in the summer they will have a water park.While most think a water park is bad, it helps give money to snow aspects, and all of water attractions will be on the easy slopes, and no were near the northface and the good skiing.

LAckawanna County told Sno Mountain yesterday evening, that they will be the buyers and the deal should close within the next month. I know you thought Snow Time was a better deal, but im just happy someone bought it.

be VERY glad snowtime didnt buy it. you would have gotten very minimal investment out of them.

I was pissed at Snow time so im glad they didnt buy it. They are a bunch of asses who tyed and delayed this sale of montage, and I think Sno Mountain was the better choice.
