Anyone here ski at Mont Ste Marie? I heard that their parc is gonna b nice, there putting the triple black jump were the half pipe was and there putting stuff in every parc this year.

I have freiends who work there, and they are suppose to have a sweet park. I was helping a buddy of mine build some of the new rails and they are looking pretty sweet.

 
yeah, i have a pass, i've heard some things. I'm probably going up this weekend. As long as it's better than last years, i'll be happy.

yea the best part about msm is the other part of the hill, the one without the park, there is some not bad skiing over there

yeah, i am now going for sure (my sister works at shavers) i'll be there on saturday. I don't know how much is going to be open, though.

Ya tomorrow is their grand opening thing but I dunno how many runs theyll have. They were pumping snow out like MAD 3 weeks ago though.

 
Was there today, really great, just one run open, nothing set up. But it was good to get skiing legs back.

if there is nothing up, go to edelweiss, they have a few rails set up and its gonna be open to the top this weekends...

yea i was told that theyre gonna put about 5 quarter pipes, only one big one tho. and theyre gonna forget the half pipe cuz they suck at making half pipes

thats awsome that there going to have some qps. they half pipe last year wasnt any good. i hope they have a really good park this year

 
an update, they now have a long straight rail (not up last year) up at the bottom of chanson, and the flat-down box (setup up-flat), and a small jump which can be fun. The actual park is supposed to be up tis week, so if you come up next weekend, you should be covered.

Thank God they're ditching the half-pipe. It will be cool if they stick a big kicker there instead, in full view of the chairlift. A nice big kicker would make up for getting rid of the triple-diamond jump they had two years ago.

 
Last weekend they had a long straight rail, kinked rail, up-flat box, rainbow box, and 2 crappy jumps. I also saw a double kinked rail in the bushes...

 
Went to Mont Ste Marie and it was terrible. The conditions were icy and bumpy), the park hadn't been groomed, the jumps were terrible...

 
another update, long flat, kink, up-flat box, and the rainbow box. The jumps will be re done, made bigger. Also the flat-down-flat will be setup next weekend along with a bright orange straight. They are blowing snow all week in both parks. Last thing, there is a possibility of a sex change set up. All this information is directly from the park manager, who will be up all week setting everything up. Ah yes, and there wil be a big air jump where th half pipe was.

as far as i know, the park manager has been working on getting some rails up in the other park, but i'll see on saturday

My buddies and I are heading up to St marie this sunday 'due to snow'! should have some updates for all you guys. Probally some pics. so check it out... Tuesday's are 2 for 1 at st marie and 2 for 1 at fortune tuesday 'night'! keep that in mind.

ok heres the update for you guys. I was there on sunday and this is what they have. Small roller and a larger table top. Rainbow box is set up, but dug in... So nothing speical there. Up flat box, which is dug in as well... So both boxes are useless. Approx 20 foot flat bar double barrel rail and a kink which is in line to the flat bar. The kink is farely small, 6 flat-8 down. Conditions were excellent but park was a tiny disapointment. Might as well go to fortune.

Yah I agree i was rather disapointed with the park yesterday Fortune is just as good (The rails are the same at both spots)

The conditions where amazing though it was an all around amazing day on the hill yesterday

three jumps. Big air and smaller one and tiny one. S rail, two tiny rails, a liek 15 foot small rail, a tiny kink, rainbow box. Not bad jumpwise
