Although this is cool and all, they are ripping the public off I think by using all this snow for these jumps when they could be using it elsewhere.
 
WHY DID I HAVE TO MISS THE ENTIRE SEASON?! Fuck my ACL. But I think its closed to public they kept on saying its for some Burton filming or something.
 
thats a pretty spot on assumption, make sure theres a video if they let you hit it. Try not to roll down the windows to fast they might shatter, much like your kneecaps upon knuckling.
 
Yup its closed to the public. This is seriously the stupidest fucking idea ever, why would Burton want to have a park shoot at Seven Springs Pennsylvania? We wait all fucking season for The Spot (that park) to open then they close it a month after it opens while it was used for comps almost every weekend it was open.

Basically Springs just said fuck you to the kids who ACTUALLY ride the spot because they think it'll bring more revenue their way because they will be able to say BURTON HAD A PARK SHOOT HERE OMG ARENT WE SWEET.

Forreal though fuck Seven Springs so glad I'm moving to Utah.
 
Just heard they closed their parks for this. I am no longer going this weekend. Congrats springs for losing a customer. 85 foot shoot is cool but not sacrificing the other parks for it.
 
they will be but my point is whats the point in hyping the spot up so much when they just run shitty comps the 5 weeks or so they have it open then do this shit, they've been making some pretty poor choices recently let alone havent changed the setup in any of the parks other than the alley twice which has consisted of just moving features.
 
I agree. There were only like 2 weekends where the spot was open to the public. I was up there last weekend when they said it was the last weekend for te spot to be open and it was closed for the building of this jump. They lied! But really, 7springs didn't manage this season that well at all. I was hoping to go to hidden valley maybe this weekend but they're already closed for some unknown reason.
 
The spot was open for 6 weeks, and they posted everywhere that it was going to be closed for the weekend for the build

And they re-pushed the jumps last time after the shoot for a hike park after the rest of mountain was closed, I dont see why you people complain, access to by far the best parks for 400 miles and still have 12 jumps and 72 rails all in perfect fucking condition at the end of march

Yeah Seven Springs blows. I ride there every weekend and it should be ranked No. 1 in the East for most likely to be disappointed. They should they get off of Burton's dick and start thinking about the people that actually ride there on a regular basis.

I really don't see how people complain about springs. With the spot closed it still looks like it blows every other place in PA and surrounding states out of the water. I would be so stoked to ride there. I guess that just goes to show that no matter how good a park is people still complain.
 
Bummed on the spot being closed but stoked for the season springs had and the setups they had this year. Much better than last year because of the weather cooperating.
 
Sounds like a bunch of whiny, butthurt kids. All the park vids I've seen from the Sprigs hype it up and it's dope shit. So they closed one park out of 6? Go ride the other 5 which look sick:..
 
Years ago Burton hosted a video contest for a top to bottom poach, of skier only, Mad River Glen. I say NS'ers should return the favor.

There is no way that is open to the public. The amount of boners with broken ankles would be rediculous
 
it is most definitely open to the public. I have only heard of a few people attempting to hit it. Actually one kid made a thread about it.

damn you beat me to it by a few minutes. then again its snowboarders, so we should hope they only double and try trips and wait for some skier to duck the ropes or sneak past security and drop in and just send a quad to thug first hit
