Monoskier x, everyone should see this

i was flippin out when i saw this! dudes are INSANE! they ski better and go off hit jumps bigger than me lol

that last jump is crazy for those guys, they are fearless
 
Man these have to be the feel good stories of the games, allways, because they really have a different past from the rest of us, great stuff! Anyone know if Dueck competed this year?
 
That was great, and that last jump was so gnarly, did you see that guy's fall? That would suck
 
Is there a reason their skis come off? And how do you do jumps in those? I'd probably enter a backflip as soon as I went off and land on my head.

This is the only video I could find of Kevin Conolly, he was born without legs and gets around town on a longboard, he's a total badass and took home silver one year. Check out his book called Double Take if you want a good read. I would never have the balls to get on a sit ski.
 
Absolute respect for these guys. They are fearless at what they do and must be a bit crazy to hit that last jump with so much speed.
 
double take is a mad good book. I saw some dude a few years ago shredding some pretty sick lines off of the triple at big sky and thought it might be him.

Inspiring for sure
 
That's just so impressive, anyone who does mono skiing should be rewarded for pushing themselves to another level
