are school sucks every one here has mono its spreading so fucking fast and I bet that I have it to because my x girl freind says she has it, but is it a seriouse deise??? because I don't realy know much about it:S?

its not really a seriose disease, somepeople can be effected more than other people, its pretty simaler to the flu,

my sister had it and she was tired and stuff for a long time....her spleen was swollen and if it erupted then she would of die of internal bleeding!

but like paulou said it affects ppl harder than others!

to of my freinds splines have erupted in the last 5 mounths and there both living normal lives, the only way u can die from it is if u ignore it for like aday but that would be inpolble because my they both said it was the most piane full thing they have ever done!!

Still very scary.

my friend had mono too. and he was sleeping for like 2 monthes straight or some shit. like whenever I called him he picked it up and was like ahhhhhhhhhhh(yawning) hello? and shit. and it wwas fun for him though as so he said because he did school at home for a while and he did tests and shit at home. so I think it would be cool having it if you didnt have all those bleading problems and shit

no, its just like being sick for a long time and realllllyy tired, i had to get tested for it becasue i slept so much, but they convinced my parents i wasjust...lazy

Mono isn't that bad. I guess, it's sort of like strep throat. If you don't get it treated, then it can be nasty, but if you do, then it's nothing big. When I had it, I was tired all the time, and the glands around my throat were all swollen.

it just depends, i had toncelitus with it, and thats it, i was tired too. you have to be careful though. you cant ski ro anything like that, if you hit your stomach your splein with rupture and you will be in some serious trouble, also dont drink, its really bad for you wiht mono

my math teacher had pneumonia and scarlet fever and shit last year, she was in hospital for like 5 months, and almost died. but she's back to normal now, and just ran the boston marathon about 2 weeks ago. she's doing a lot better now.

oh lord....this girl at my school was bragging about not getting it and then she did and i was so happy. she wuz such a ho and a bitch. but anywaize yeah...its not too serious

old thread is old, but i had mono for 4 weeks last fall. it sucked i couldnt even swallow my own spit without being in a ton of pain, eating sucked, and i was always thirsty, but couldnt drink. And I was always sore and tired, and had a headache
