Money for cans in Truckee

Is there a place in truckee to take your cans to get recycled and then they give you money for them? I heard california paid pretty well for cans and it would be a good way to help pay for gas money.
 
Let me know if you find a place. My roommates and I have tons of garbage bags full of cans just chillin on our deck.
 
Will the supermarkets in truckee do the same? I am running out of space for all our cans.
 
my desire to shred the gnar as much as possible outways giveing a fuck if people think I am a bumb cause I have mountains of cans on my pourch.... call me cheap.....but when gas is over $3.00 and I'm unemployed it resort to deperate measures.

P.S. If you have any cans you would like to donate, drop em' off...hahaha
 
there is a thing called ebay. you could make more money on ebay in one week than you ever could cashing in old beer cans and resorting to the ways of the homeless
 
so becca...are you saying I should sell my beer cans on ebay? oh snap! your a genius!!
 
not nessasarily what i was saying, but now that you mention it people would probaly buy that too. especially if you got artsy with it and maybe made a design out of the beer cans and mounted them on wood, perhaps a smiley face... just an idea.
