I wouldnt say either one is neccessarily better than the other. They both seem to have their pluses and minuses. For example, High north has more features, but momentum seemed to have more creative and fun features (ie. wallride, butterbox etc.)

momentum kicks ass and u can't say one is better unless you have gone to both so when u go to both then u can say which one is better oh and the wallride is a hell of a lot of fun

if i could ski in both parks however much i want ed it would be pretty even. highnorths big table is far and away better than anything momentum had. As for rails they were about equal. then momentum had the wallride. high north gets food made right on the glacier and you get a shuttle to the base in the morning. o and momentum had no sort of pipe thing this year. high north had the back to back quarter pipes.

What about the coaches and coaching? No one seems to talk about that very much, only the terrain. Is it important who the coaches are, or is it mostly about the features in the lanes?

well ive never been to high north but i can say one thing, and that is momentum kicked ass...the coaches there are the best: thay have iannick b, sarah burke, josh bibby, tj schiller, sarah burke, frank(a local), rory bushfield, sarah burke, trennon paynter, oh and hey they have sarah burke. also all the jibs there wer amazing and the jumps were good but we also poached the world camp's table when they left so that was cool. the food was amazing, especially the burgers. the whole atmosphere was good too so i cant wait to go back next year to momentum but i cant say much about other camps other what i read about them cause this is the only one ive ever been to so im just gonna support momentum

ya momentum was really sick i havent tried hn so im not gonna say its better but i had a ton of fun at momentum either 1 would be really fun... and momentum doesnt cost as much

Momentum Camps killed it this year, have you guys seen the wall they had set up? It was ridiculous and they had a killer up rail to gap that was the craziest feature of the season!

 
summer '05 momentum was off the hook this summer. even the lack of snow that held back everyone else on the glacier didnt seem to have an affect on momentum. the lane was super dope, 810's off the kicker rail, switch 1260's off the big kicker....SICK!! the wheels are already spinning for next summer...BIGGER and BETTER

 
^well it kind of did, because High North cut a session and ended earlier than normal. The final session of Momentum was by far the best of the summer, it was like having a private glacier. But you make a good point, it was funny how on a year when everyone thought camps would suck, both HN and Momentum had their best lanes ever.

 
i think any camp you go to up there your gunna have a lotta fun wether it be momentum high north or coc. but momentum was definatly sick

 
Trennon did an AMAZING job at momentum this year. They have a really steep lane, which is hard to work with, and there was a lot of cool stuff there.

I give huge props to those guys for doing what they did!

Yeah the lane was crazy steep for a park. That road gap idea that he came up was really good for utilizing the slope even though it was a little sketchy

the steepness made the in-run for the table really nice cuz you coul just straight line it from not to far back and clear it with ease everytime

momentum is awesome! ive never been to the other camps so i cant dis em...but momentum is the shit! i cant wait for next year. i wanna go for 2 sessions!!!
