the bottom line is momentum is simply the best!!!! everyone there has such a great vibe, and attitude! and now with all the new land they got... it is going to be better than ever in the summer of 2008!!!!!GO TO MOMENTUM!!!!! ITS GUNNA BE FUUUUUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!whewwwww

id love to go and im sure everyone else on this site would too, but the price is a lil too high, not gunna have enough after my trip to Colorado in a few weeks.... so sad

There are snowboard camps that use that pipe. So Momentum is going to be sharing space some snowboard camps? Crazy.

nawww not the pipe by high north, it used to be part of the public park, i think you might be thinking of the pipe past the bottom of the showcase t-bar, the one that you have to hike/skate to

The difference with momentum and other camps is quality, yeah you can go for a cheaper camp, but look at what isn't included, and what they don't offer, that momentum does offer. You also have to understand that at bigger camps, you're just another camper, to the big camps you're just a number. At momentum they treat you like a human being, and take the time to help you progress, plus the coaches at momentum are so rad!

your clearly just advertising for them^ to be honest, my experience at HN was SO much better than momentum, everyone was just a lot more chill and the lane was way sweeter

i was gonna go to HN but i cant now and momentums should be just as good cuz they got High North's lane

Yeah, for sure Hn was mad chill, honestly, I think HN was the best camp, but now that theyre gone and momentum is taking over their lane, I would take momentum over any other camp

$2,000+ to ski for a week or 10 days or however long to me isn't exactly worth it....but I would certainly spend it if I had expendable income

Well...good news about momentum this summer...just got this email from the camp about this coming summer...

"New Expanded Terrain…

An extra bonus for us this summer is that we have been able to add two new lanes (total 5 lanes) to our overall terrain, plus we will have access to a fully maintained Halfpipe. TJ Schiller will be designing the layout of the new lanes (previously High North terrain). Check our website for detailed terrain info.

Expanded Coaching Line-up…

Terrain is important, but our greatest strength will always be our coaches.

On the Freeride side Trennon Paynter heads up the team again, which includes returning superstars Sarah Burke, Rory Bushfield, TJ Schiller, Mike Riddle, Iannick B, Corey Vanular, Josh Bibby, Vincent Dorion, Tim Russell, Frank Raymond, Phil Poirier, Dana Flahr, Jay Vaughan. New coaches this year include Sammy Carlson, Justin Dorey, Tanner Rainville, Chris Turpin, Matt Hayward and Colby West, with other top names still in the works such as Kuya Turski, Jen Hudak. We are also expecting to see both Simon Dumont and Tanner Hall back this summer shredding the terrain and stoking out the campers.

Our Mogul team is as strong as ever including Olympic Champion Janne Lahtela, and fellow Olympians + World Cuppers , Warren and Jamie Tanner, Scott Bellavance, Ryan Johnson, Shelley Robertson, Kelly Ringstad, Katherina Kubenk and new this year World Cup medalist Vincent Marquis . We’re also looking to bring in US superstar and 2005 World Champion, Nate Roberts.

DJ Booth and Demo Center

We’ll have unrestricted airways this summer with the only DJ Booth set up on the Showcase T-Bar. At the Demo Center try out all the latest Salomon gear before it hits the stores next season and enjoy plenty of free giveaways and tasty dogs.

Hybrid Sessions Back…

We are again the only camp to offer a ‘hybrid’ session for those of you who want to train half freeride and half moguls. This is available in both our youth and first adult sessions.

High Performance Competitive Program…

We're continuing to offer our HPCP this year for those of you wanting to get an edge on the competition, whether you’re aiming for the Olympic Gold or the X-Games crown. Our coaches have all been there and know what it takes to become a champion. They will give you invaluable insight into what it takes to be the best!

Great Sponsors back again…

Salomon will again be one of our lead sponsors with their demo tent and all the latest skis to try out, as well as new skis to win every week. SkullCandy are back and will be hooking up every camper with a set of headphones. Dakine has created a new special edition Rasta Momentum pack and has more great prizes to offer. Oakley is entering their 17th year sponsoring the camp and will keep the Oakley Challenge alive, Newschoolers are coming on board this year with lots of swag and direct updates from the glacier. Bula will provide a special edition Momentum beanie for every camper. Kinesys will be keeping you protected from the beautiful and intense sunshine on the hill and you will be loaded up with all you can read and swag from our magazine sponsors Freeskier & SBC Skier Magazine. Voleurz is our official camp movie sponsor, shooting images all summer for their up coming new film plus awarding lots of swag. They along with many other film companies will be shooting the lane this summer.

Sessions are starting to fill up, so contact us soon to reserve your spot at info@momentumcamps.com or 1.800.949.7949.

Hope the Spring skiing in you area is all good, if not, your summer will be – we look forward to seeing you up here!
