My Melees came in the mail the other day and its official...Moment is the new black motherfuckers. The construction is burly, the skis are light and poppy, and the graphics rediculiously ill. Moment is everything they are cracked up to be and more. Serioulsy kids start saving your pennys cause these skis are worth it. peace

well, they say orange is the new black

and dynastars are the new orange. so im sticking with dyna

Cheahhh, I'm not gettin' Melee's but I looked at the pictures of Casey Kane ridin' them in NZ, they looked soooooo ridiculously sick. I can't wait for my Moments to land at my doorstep...

I love this time of yearr, when I get my new stuff

"The construction is burly, the skis are light and poppy"

of course you know all this without skiing them. don't say shit until you've actually tried it. pop is something you really don't know about till you get on snow and looks can be decieving when it comes to ski construction as you in all reality don't know the process or exact materials that went into making the ski.

im sure moment is great, but next season im getting sfb's, i have always wanted that ski as soon as i heard about it, and the graphics are sick on it this year, so thats what im buying

and to all of you who are skeptical on the construction? chill the fuck out! i rode mine hard all season and they're ready to take on another ten. i don't see why any of their other skis would be any different.

Melee's in action:

why dont you physically come to my house, flex the ski and feel how snappy the aspen core is, admire the ill as fuck graphic, and look at how well constructed the ski seems to be in comparison to my chinese made elizabeths and than try and talk some shit about how little i know about skis and ski construction.

I've broken too many skis to make generalizations like that based off looking at them and hand flexing. and by the way, Chinese made does not necessarily mean worse, just cheaper to make because of labor prices and they get to avoid some taxation with Chinese factories. you really haven't shown me any knowledge about the ski other than what you read from the description, so until you actually ski them it means nothing to me. and there you are again with the "ill as fuck graphic." that;s a matter of opinion and really has nothing to do with how the ski performs; though looking at the pics i find it kinda ugly. hand flexing means nothing, because it tells you nothing how they'll perform when they are attached to your feet and have your whole body weight on top of it, I'll bring in TMs as an example because by hand flexing they feel like noodles that are damp and unresponsive but in reality they're actually very poppy and stable.

I think people are forgetting that Moment has been tried and tested by a lot of people. Just go the the TGR forums. Literally everyone who has tried them has said the construction is amazing, the skis are fun, awesome, amazing, w/e. They all love them.

So stop claiming they haven't been tested, Moment has been around, this is their first year of opening to the general public, but a lot of people have had Moment skis.

excuse me, i've seen one review by someone who works for moment, so there's definitely going to be a huge bias. it's not like i said they suck nuts or anything, i just said don't give it so much praise till you actually ski it.

do a search for moment skis there. theres been a few reviews, and some TR's of people skiing them pretty hard. They are like in love witht he Comi there

read my post and take someone else's opinion into consideration. i am on TGR almost as much as here, and didn't remember any, so i did a search and found what i said above, which is worthless as it's someone from the company promoting their product. i could go on here, but im not going to, holding off opinions till i see how they perform and how they last once the general public gets a chance to ride them.

haha oh man. i am glad ryanvdonk pointed out that no one except people who have worked for Moment have used them. Only exception would be all the examples you just posted lol.

im glad you clicked on all those threads, cause the TGR search picks up any thread with MOMENT and/or SKIS in it...hmmm.

so you are saying that you searched but really didn't care so you supported what you said earlier anyway?

and i actually found a thread where people asked who had ridden moments. that is how i found it. not that hard. don't tell people that i was wrong and no one on tgr has ridden moments only because you go on tgr a lot. you were wrong. Moments have been tested and proven to be great skis.

i never said they weren't, and i never said they were. i said wait to see how they hold up, just because a handful of people on TGR have skied them, doesn't mean the production models which are made in a larger quantity in a quicker period will be the same, it's a pretty basic concept. i hope they are great, cause nothing is worse than snapping a pair of skis halfway though the day and then either being film bitch or sitting in the lodge. if you don't believe me, here's a screenshot of the search, it comes up with like 1 moment thread on the first page, which was created by someone at moment, if you look further there are a few more, but not that many.

fuck it, stop arguing with me, after he's had a couple weeks on them, killaf can write a review and then we can know how he thinks they ski.

man i said i new where the thread was. you were wrong, stop trying to say it wasn't your fault becasue there were too many search items.

now lets let it drop lol

in other news, TGR needs to prioritize their search so i don't have to look through all 14 pages to find the threads i want.
