Moment Skis: Good People

Just wanted to shout out Moment on here. Recently ordered an older pair of wildcat tour 108’s on the skiburger website, and it turns out they were no longer in stock. They hooked me up with a brand new pair of this years skis instead. Now I can stare at them and salivate all summer.

Super stoked, thanks Moment

You mean you haven't been wearing them around your living room? Come on OP. What else do you do with new skis in the summer. Gotta flex em on the carpet a bit.

Good call out. Always good to hear brands keeping it real. I've never skied them but I'm looking for a new pair of park sticks next yr, will have to give them a look

Solid company, bitchin skis. I’ve got a pair of Deathwishes and a pair of PB&Js. Don’t feel like I’ll ever need to add another pair of skis to my quiver.

I don't think i've read one bad comment about Moment on here ever.

and i've never read them make a negative comment about another brand or anything, even when people kind of tee them up for it

i feel bad i've never ended up pulling the trigger on a pair of Moments, i'll be looking to change that next time

their skis are rad and the people are good. they even sent me a single ski from the factory so I could have a dedicated shot ski

Lol. They’re built like tanks. Most of their skis are pretty stiff too. Wrong twice. You clearly don’t know what you’re talking about

Troll, joking, skull putting pressure on the brain, ignorant to da truth... pick one this noob ant right and he rides noodles on tiny hills

my commanders are built like tanks and relatively stiff, have been over rocks, slid logs, tapped trees and steel lift supports, they are %100 solid only scratches, my wife and daughters sierras are dope and great quality, my sons Carson’s are built better than most adult skis. Their hoodies are thicker, more comfortable than any I’ve owned, their free ride poles are strong, even compared to non adjustable poles, I break so many poles every year, I push my limits every run so I eat shut and break poles and these made it thru a whole season!!! Poles r cheap so idgaf but these are great poles, would like more color options, baskets and a breakaway tho, their customer service is incredible , top of the industry, maybe only equally rivaled by On3p

Wish every company was like Moment and ON3P. Then again if every company was they wouldn't exist prolly

I'm sure most of yall know I'm an ON3P fanboy, in fact I just closed out of making yet another fantasy custom Jeffrey. But like people are saying, I've only heard good and relatable things about Moment. Should I try them out next time instead of ON3P? Pros and cons please

I too would like to hear from someone who has owned both for multiple seasons and can pinpoint any differences amongst similar shapes etc

sorry, didn't mean no get you so worked up, My commanders tail and tip blew up after 2 months of purchase, that's why I said it. I believe it is my place to state my opinion because I was far from satisfied with my Moment skis.

Did you ever try any other ones? Contacting Moment? Sounds like you got a lemon pair. No company has 100% reliability, it's an unfortunate truth that there will be some defective skis coming out of the factory.

no, I have not, I got so pissed and I just bought Vishnus because I have loved all of my previous Vs. If I were to go back to moment I would proly get the frankenski.

You called them bendy... very inaccurate characteristic of a commander, makes me wonder if any of your statement is true, especially since you had a tantrum instead of contacting the company, hope your not in the market for an automobile.

tail... and tip... this does sound like a defect, I bet moment woulda sent you another pair, sounds like your getting drunk and skiing into walls tho 1/2 j/k

finally commanders are not park skis, I doubt it’s so, but park skis are maybe built differently...

and I never said you weren’t entitled to your opinion, but you didn’t even give them a chance to make it right and shouldn’t bash them publicly at least without first stating : i broke my skis and gave them no chance to make it right should be your opening line

and I’m not worked up per say, but I don’t agree with badmouthing a company of individuals who proudly make their stuff and represent their customers and community so well, again, especially w/o giving them a chance, no beef with u, rock and rep them Vs , but don’t bash moment when your knowledge and experience with them is so limited

I swear to God Deathwishes are the funnest skis I've been on for steeps/tech/trees/pow and even kill on bumps. They're lighter skis so not the dampest or chargiest and are not carvers but so fun to be able to quickly get them to do what you want on everything else. Great riding switch too.

When I had an issue Moment totally hooked me up. Plus, their whole graphics steeze is pretty much the most core shit in the industry. Sickest company.
