Would call it the ultimate goon ski but blend has to take the cake.

I had no idea on the bad reputation of the frankenski lol am I out of touch? I think it is an excellent park ski (probably the best ive ridden) and the rare times I see others riding it theyre usually good skiers.

There is no bad reputation. It’s a fantastic park ski. People just love talking shit

There just isn't much market for a 2000g symmetrical 98waist ski in the comp scene. imo it was holding Cody back. It's a good park ski but not for elite level comp skiing... and that is ok, Cody better off on a tight radius lightweight arv94

Well considering they’re almost always sold out the market would say you are wrong.

The original Frank was redesigned a few years back after Cody tried out the ARV 94. The current version, among some other input is what came from that.

In the current state of park skiing (besides pipe) I don't think there's an elite ski, as everyone has a personal preference and wants something to match their style. I snapped my buddy's V's in one lap and thought they were un-ridable. Didn't work for me personally based on my preferences, meanwhile they're the most sought after ski from the swervers.

I also believe Cody can ride any park ski out there and still be untouchable.

I hope both teams have fun!

So he tried the arv94 a few years ago when it didn't exist, then said, make it fatter, heavier, and sym... only to leave to the 94 a few years later?

Would agree that there's no "elite" ski, but you have to be realistic and see no one else on the comp circuit is skiing a frank or anything else similar. Cody is elite and makes any ski look good too.

Cody only skied the Frank for occasional park laps, I built him custom Vice 178's for his comp skis.

Those yours? Willing to sell flat if they are?

Not mine sorry. Just saw them and figured pass them this way on the forum for someone to grab. Even with the bindings that’s a fucking steal

[tag=144811]@hot.pocket[/tag] are the current 182 countach using the new lightning logo bases? I’ve seen 188’s with the newer logo but not a 182 and the site still shows the older two tone bases.

beautiful skis. i'd do straight black or gold pivots if i were you, but if i were you, you'd be me and you could use my body to buy which bindings you wanted. so i can't stop you

If I do the black I have to buy a second brake since they only come in 75. So costing more. Raw matched nice, gold looks really cool but after seeing them with senders there is nothing that matches better.

Those just look menacing, honestly might save up for some when they come out again

Next drop will be the new top sheet. If you’re diggin this one might want to jump sooner. Whatever’s out there is out there.

excited to see the new topsheets hopefully they're fire.

I’ve seen the new deathwish and deathwish tour TS. I like the tour. Not feeling the new animal choice for the standard deathwish. They used the red eyes from the Countach on the new animals.

Franks topsheets always top tier. they stand out so much

Excited to see the franks for sure. Really exited to see where the astronauts story goes in the wildcat. Last seasons was my favorite cat other than the shuttle and apollo rocket TS’s. My grand father worked for nasa during the Apollo and shuttle missions. Those take the cake for me because of nostalgia

Ya the Jack and Jill themes were super dope. They swapped to the astronaut for the wildcat series to differentiate the new “line”
