Moment reviews???

Amazing quality, people only say shitty because they have never ridden any moments, they only started 4 years ago and in my book, they are almost one of the biggest growing brands out.
 
ive owned and broken multiple pairs, and i know the makers of the skis. they really are shitty
 
can't tell if serious.

Moments are sick. I love my Moment's, and everyone I know who has owned a pair has loved them... not to mention, I personally don't know one person who has broken a pair. Hell, I have one pair that is in their 3rd season and they don't even have a cracked edge yet.
 
dead serious. its a pretty known fact that they had some serious issues with durability until last season
 
super sick, i love mine! not sure what this dude is talking about with the durability, yes in previous years they did not hold up the best but now they hold up great!
 
my bibby pros are amazing, theyre insanely versatile, and love to charge...cant speak on their park skis though
 
It's a pretty known fact you bash them in every relevant thread because you had a bad experience or two. Time to find a new hobby.
 
When we started making skis 8 years ago in a garage we were making the best we could make

and are damn proud that we were making anything,

after 8 years,

after doubling in size every year,

after getting a factory space over triple the size of our original,

with triple the equipment,

and making EXTREME investments in product quality.

we can proudly say that MOMENT is on the level of other ski companies in terms of quality and surpassing others.

it was really cool to be at SIA and have dozens of major ski companies come up to us and compliment us on how well we are doing things.

We take pride in being one of the only ski companies who owns their factory here in the united states

as well as using 95% domestically sourced products in our skis

and developing a full line of outerwear

for 2 guys in a garage...

..i'd say we've come a damn long way since then

alright, so I guess the 6 people at my hill who have owned (multiple) Moments for 3 to 4 years without ever having one break means nothing then.

May I ask what other skis you have ridden? Have you broken many other skis? Just because you broke one pair of skis a few years ago doesn't mean shit about the overall durability of a company.

 
I also have 2 pairs, I love them. OP, are you wanting a straight park ski? Or an all around park ski? I have the Vice and they are incredibly versatile - Great in the crud, handle well in soft snow, bumps, and they kill it in the park. They have mustache rocker so they carve like no other twin tip either. to be honest, it's my favorite ski i've ever had.
 
I've had about 11 or 12 pairs of Moments over the last 5 years. Never had a single problem with any of them. Granted I know how to ski, and land, and I don't hit rails every damn second I'm on the ski hill. But the quality now is just as good as any major company out there, if not better because we inspect each ski several times through before sending them out for shipment. Even if a ski falls and hits the ground, it goes to the blem pile... even if there's no functional damage. 95% of all our materials (except edges because no one makes high quality edges in America) come from the US so you get added assurance of homegrown roots that try to best support other local business that help make the parts that make the skis.

If you want to hate on Moment for no reason at all with empty explanations, go ahead. We're gonna be around for the long haul.
 
I have broken a pair of line afterbangs, 4frnt MSP's and a pair of salomon suspects. Out of all of those, the moments handle the best, hold up the best, and are handmade with 20+ inspections before leaving the factory. I work there, I have seen every step, and compared to the salomon process, I would take moment any day.
 
Moment Jibs = piece of fucking shit.

rode 3 times = sidewalls pretty much gone, edges chipped, topsheet chipped

just dont buy these skis such a waste of money.
 
moment is ill. i snapped my tahoes but i was deff being stupid so its my failt, my bibbys are on their thirs season and have no edge cracks, core shots, or anything like that and i deff ski them pretty hard
