im look at buying the 09/10 reno jibs can any one who has rode reno jibs just give me somewhat of a idea of what they will ski like and if they can shred the whole park eaisily thanks

solid ***** 5 snowflake stokie from everyone it seems like... they were re done in 2010 though. A Moment guy said ash and something else for the core, skinnier, straighter, supposed to be more stable, and even more poppy(they were for a big part poppy from the camber and flex before, now there is that and more fiber glass or something). A bit under 8.5lbs/pair in 181s I believe he said. If you must know more PM me or post here and I will scroll through old emails to try and find it..but you owe me karma for that.

The Jibs have been redesigned for 09/10. They have the same sidecut but the tip and tail rise is a little bit smaller (since the larger tip rise in the past isnt need for park). The core is now an Aspen and Ash blend and the butter zone has been slightly modified (more flex, softer) without taking away the pop from the ski. It is a bit softer then the jibs in the past....that being said they are still on the stiffer side when comparing all park skis on the market. New binding mounts and carbon have also been added. Its the best Reno Jib we have made yet. I am really happy with outcome of the ski this year.

Feel free to PM me with any direct questions.

Will any online shops like backcountry or somthin carry em for cheaper maby, cus i dont know if i have the cash for 575USD skis without bindings. but i want em soo bad damit.

so i tried them at a demo last season and they were great stiffer than what i was use to but really good on 45 footer i would buy a pair but there a little pricey for a 13 year olds wallet

how are the reno jibs on rails because ill be doin alot of that and is there any edge issues or delaming or anything like that

mine held up great last year, i have the 08/09 and there amazing 500 was steep for skis (rip jibij) but i bought some used z12 for them, i can honestly say i have never felt a lighter set up, i couldnt imagine them getting any lighter, i was also spetical about their quality, but they held up awesom, not one complaint great skis the only thing i wish i did was get the reno rocker, so the ski would have been a little softer, but all in all if you go with moment you will not be disapointed shoot me a pm with any questing

I also have the 08/09's with z12's, and it is probably the lightest setup on the market, but DO NOT buy the salomon Z12 bindings, theyre crap, i broke em three or four times, and they pre release even when you have the din at 11, an I'm only 145 lbs, but anyways, the reno jibs were sick, I'm mainly a jump guy and there was the normal top sheet damage but nothing more than that, they are super fast, super stable, super poppy, and pretty stiff. They are also durable on rails, I rode em 45+ days and they have held up great. The only complaint was about the stiffness for nose butters, it makes em way harder to do, but still doable. This problem is prolly fixed by the new core in the 2010 model.

All in all they are a fantastic park ski.
