I know this should be in gear talk but who cares. I was looking at the moment vice and jib vs the on3p filthy rich. Which one? Also how do you actually pronounce ON3P?
Both are good skis, can't really go wrong with either one. Pretty sure the Vice is stiffer than both the Jib and FR. The FR has better durability (thicker, stronger edges). FR has more rocker.
Can't speak on Moment, but I love the Filthy Rich. It's by far my favorite park ski I've ever owned and so far it has held up well (knock on wood). You can't go wrong with the Filthy Rich.
Both companies make awesome skis. The filthy rich has gotta be the absolute funnest pair of skis I've ridden on. I can tell you with confidence they're among the most durable skis on the market right now.
I had on3p blue steeles that i broke (not from bad dirablility i just landed on both tails super hard) and i just got the moment vice the vice is alot lighter and had less rocker but still a good amount it is stiffer than the on3ps which i like we will see how they hold up but i detuned underfoot a good amount so hopefully they hold up
I would like to say moments but after I saw a kid rip of his edge off on a rail, on literally this first day skiing them, I can't. I would go ON3P, particularly the Filty Riches...same ski I might buy for next year.
HAHAH funny joke! Moment makes such a shitty park ski. Worst brand i've ever had the mistake of spending money on hands down, I probably paid more for them a day before they broke than i did for a pass.
fun buttery park ski for sure. a little too much camber and sidecut, in my opinion, and they're pretty horrible for anything besides park/groomers. pretty good park ski though.
theres just something about ON3P that makes them in a league of their own. They make an awesome product from what ive heard. they have an even better brand.
The dudes at ON3P are really, really good at every aspect of ski making which essentially does the marketing for em. Super high fives to all those dudes
