Looking for a new ski to complete my quiver. I have magic js 190cm for big days and filthy riches 176cm for the park but am looking for a playful solid all mountain ski that can still charge. I am an expert skier and am 5 10 135lbs so a twig. I was thinking the meridian and down throwdown could fit the bill but would like to here other suggestions and whether these are good options Thanks

Meridians are a fun ski. I'd say they're a good freeride all mountain ski. They're stiff so you can charge but with any full rocker ski they're easy to put on edge.

I've always been curious about down skis. Seem like cool sticks and great price.

Come back with a review if you get them

What size would you recommend 181 or 187?

I'd go 187. In theory it would make sense to have a ski in between your other two, and 187 is close to 190. However, with full rocker skis they ride smaller than a full camber ski and it will be a good addition to your line up.
