Moment Exit World mount point

Just picked up a pair of 190 Moment Exit Worlds for a dedicated touring setup and im wondering where to mount them. All of my other skis are mounted true centre (Surface New Life and One Life) and i really enjoy skiing them there. I enjoy spinning off cliffs and doing the odd switch line, so i would like to mount them as far forward as possible without losing too much.

I believe the recommended line is 6cm back from true centre and I was thinking of mounting them a few cms forward of that. What are your opinions on that?

I cant check mine at the moment but i believe recommended is center or close to center of the camber part. I mounted my original bibbys at recommended and it worked the same way there and its was perfect so I went for recommended again. Note I dont plan to ski switch on my exit worlds, mountend them with Plum Yaks.

Contact Moment through their webiste, you can chat or leave a message. They are very helpfull with these things.

Yea im not too worried about being able to ski switch on them. I still have my one lifes with MFD plates for fucking around on shorter tours. Im more worried about going to a further back mount coming from all true centre skis. But from most people ive heard from it seems like recommended is probably best.

First of all, nice purchase the exit world is one of our favorites to date.

The ski is made to turn best at recommended, which is putting boot center on the large center triangle on the left sidewall of each ski.

However with that in mind you could move your boot center to the most forward triangle. It would be a little better for tricks but you would sacrifice a few cm of tip for the big days.

All in all mounting them forward of recommended won't ruin the ski for you by any means especially with the way you want to ski it. You have our blessings.

(p.s. I actually have a pair of pbj's I mounted forward of center just to see how it would play out, a bit too aggressive of an edge but amazingly stable switch, definitely made skiing them a blast in a surprising way)
