Moment Deathwish

yo im looking at the Moment Deathwish 18/19 for this coming season. But I am bit worried about the 112mm underfoot as I still rail around the pistes a lot as well as skiing out of bounds. anyone offer any advice on this? Has anyone skied on them before and can tell me about how they perform on piste? Also I have seen they have updated the ski for this coming season but not 100% how much difference that will make to piste performance

Where do you normally ski at?

Also, really only the 190 length received an update, the 174 and 184 are more or less unchanged.

In Europe always - so a lot of wide pistes which due to the cold are normally pretty firm but soft enough to pull a carve.

Oh so if i am looking at the 184 it's an unchanged ski?

Correct, the 184 did not receive an update like it's 190 counterpart. A lot of our factory workers and friends ride the Deathwish for all conditions. Wide enough to float, yet can hold a solid carve, especially when it's just firm enough to dig an edge in.

Can confirm, the Deathwish (I'm on the 184) is shockingly good on groomers. Love that ski so much. Sure, it's not a dedicated carving ski, but it's the best 112ish playful ski on groomers I've been on. And then everywhere else on the mountain it's awesome as well.

I have a bit of a ski problem (there's a stupid number of skis in my garage) and I still found myself reaching for the Deathwish as my default any day that wasn't a really deep pow day last season. Gotta figure out what I'm going to do this year since I lent my pair to a kid for a day and he destroyed my edges and sidewall on rails....
