Moment Bibby vs. Surface One Life

Bump. I know I want to get a pair of Bibby Pros, but I don't know which size would be best. I'll be going to college at CU Boulder if that helps you get an idea of the terrain I'll be skiing. I'll prob be skiing at places like A-Basin, Keystone, Breck, etc. I have a park/everyday mediocre condition ski. I like charging, however I do like trees. I'm used to a 169 ARV, which is very flexy if it helps at all.

I'm hesitant to get the 190 because I'm afraid that they'll be tough to turn quickly and perform that well in the tighter trees.

If you have any other ski suggestions that would be great.

hey this is a bit of a bump! but, i'm 5'7 and 170 pounds

would the 179 one life ski too short for me?

i'm a 3+ skiier who lives in the PNW

Nah man. Although some other people might say different.

Are you still growing? The 189 is a sick ski. It's pretty big, and deserves a 30 minute time slot on Spike TV. If it's something you think you can handle. I don't know about you, but read this whole thread. Gives great insight to the ski's.

Bottom line in my opinion, the One Life is a big ski. Super stiff, super stable. Huge rocker. You're a bit shorter than me, but the weight and ability might let you handle the ski. Look into the New Life too, at 184. There isn't much discussion here about it. Some threads are kicking around though.

I'm going to go out and say this. This has been a very successful thread. Thank you to all.

That's kind of a shallow comment.

This thread is a year old. I'm long past my decision. Since then, I've added a pair of Green Lifes to my quiver too..

I have nothing against Moment. I'd buy a pair. I'm just very well satisfied with Surface right now.

Have you been on a pair of their skis? If not you should probably keep your little shit talking mouth shut.

Surface has had a problem with durability of their park skis in the past its no secret, however they have rectified the situation and everything is above par now. Also they have some of the best CS in the game.

So next time please piss off, and let the adults finish their conversation.
