The paper reported that the boy's great-grandmother had specifically

told him not to open his present, which contained a Nintendo Game Boy

Advance. It was wrapped and lying under the Christmas tree, the police

report stated. But on Sunday morning, the gift was unwrapped and

the box was empty. So when the boy's mother found out, she alerted

police, the paper reported."He took it without permission. He wanted it. He just took it," the 63-year-old great-grandmother told the Herald. The

women said that the boy lied to them at first, saying he was unaware of

where the video game system was. After threat of calling the police,

the boy apparently gave the toy back to his mother, the paper reported.

But the upset mother called police anyway. Two officers responded and charged the child as a juvenile with petty larceny, although he was not jailed.

The mother told the Herald that she didn't know what else to do with

her son, so she called police. The paper reported she is a single

mother and has been struggling with constant behavior problems from the

boy. She said her son still showed no remorse when the police came."I'm

trying to get him some kind of help," the 27-year-old mother told the

paper. "He's the type of kid who doesn't believe anything until it

happens." She said he has shoplifted, stolen money from her,

punched a police officer and is nearing expulsion from school. She told

the paper that she hopes this arrest will be a wake-up call for her

son, because she worries about getting a call someday telling her he's

been killed. The mother plans to have her son placed with the

state Department of Juvenile Justice in Columbia at his court

appearance, the Herald reported.stopindex Distributed by Internet Broadcasting. This material may not be published, broadcast, rewritten or redistributed.

it's a sad day for parenting when a parent raises a 12 year old who is so out of control that she has to have him arrested.

I don't think he was arrested solely because he took his present early. There were obviusly some other issues that the police looked at when they made that decision..

The kid seems pretty uncontrollable.

So the broad got knocked up when she was either fourteen or barely fifteen. Sounds like the kid's not the only one with problems.

his mom was 15 when she had him also the kids GREAT grandmother is only 63 so somewhere between 27 and 63 is another generation...

good, i hate little stupid fuckin kids who think they can just get away with shit,...

kids now-a-days are getting so disrespectful to anyone and everyone.. they thihnk they can walk all over.. WHOEVER and think there will be no consiquence..

a month of 2 ago a guy was delivering newspapers to stores downtown and a group of 12 year old GIRLS started coming after him,.. he hopped in his truck and one of the bitches swung a machetti at him,.. busted out his window and tried to chop his hand off... they were all out drunk and it was like 5:30am

at the ski hill i work at some little fuckin punk boarder was eating fries and shit with his faggy friends. they were getting up to go outside and ride somemore, so my buddy (who also works there) asks him to throw his stuff in the garbage, and he goes off saying "its not mine" even though if its his or not, they were sitting there, its on a tray all they have to do is toss it out, but this punk ass goes off, saying "its your fucking job to clean it up not mine" and he knocks everything on the floor, like ketchup and all, rite all over our brand new carpet....

he got banned for a couple weeks, but still

theres NO respect these days,.. they need to drop the minimum age thing for kids getting charges on them to like 9

"she worries about getting a call someday telling her he's been killed."

^that’s classic.

but seriously that kid needs to chill.

thank you for that....

i dunno, as long as the charges don't go through, i say that is a damn good lesson to teach your kid.

correction- great grandma is 63, which means that the gret grandma and grandma had kids at about 18. that story is messed up

yea i saw this but the way i read it he has problems..he was expelled from school and he has ADHD...and he went over to his grandma's house (next door) and went in the closet and played it...they took it away but he did it again and then again...then she called the cops and he swung at one of them and they arrested him...AOL news

thank you...i couldnt have said it any better.

believe it or not but since i've been livin in albany i see things in a completely different light. ive had a group of kids-oldest maybe 6, youngest like 3-take my garbage cans and dump the garbage all over my stoop and all over the sidewalk. i heard all of the commotion so i went outside to confront them. i mean their kids whats the worse that could happen right? wrong...i got called a cracka (not the first time) and then they started throwing bottles at me. needless to say i called teh cops though they never got em. how could they? "theyre just kids"

well no wonder the kid's fucked up, his mom was 15 when he was born, a 15 yr old is not a suitable parent.

The kids almost as old as his mom, no wonder why hes fucked in the head. His dad could be one of his own classmates

Throw shit back at them, or make some racist comments yourself (Lateralis' "cotton-field gorilla" comes to mind)...personally though I think I'd just get a high pressure garden hose and and soak them all the fuck down, maybe put some dye in the hose to stain the fubu shit they are wearing.

you are retarted.. you lose all your speaking privlages from now on.. the point isn't that the kid opened the present early, its that she called the cops.. if i were the judge i would prosecute the mom for abstruction of justice and drop the charges on the kid.. what if there were a big emergency and the cops were dealing with this dumb bitch instead of actually doing something worth while.. if she can't discipline her kid she shouldn't have gotten pregnanat at 15 like a dumb bitch..

His point was that kids think they can just do whatever the fuck they please to other people and things that don't belong to them, and that nothing will happen to them. It's true, it's this whole movement of parents not spanking kids and shit cause they think it's cruel, it's bullshit, everyone needs a good ass kicking now and again to keep them humble, and if kids grow up not getting punished for anything, or hearing nothing but idol threats from parents who never actually do anything about the kids behavior, then when they get older they think everything is a game, and that nothing will really happen to them for doing shit they shouldn't do. On the other hand, the Mom might be a little out of hand calling the cops for him opening the present early, but he was told not to, and he shouldn't have done it, and if you read it, he's in other sorts of trouble and shit too, so the cops might get him scared enough to clean up his act.
