I have a hard time believing that's the first time she's driven that car. I would think she would have stalled it....most people do the first time they try and drive a performance clutch.
 
i've been driving stick for a little over a year in a mustang with a nice clutch and i wont even try to drive my friends 1000hp supra. That car is insane

definitely not her first time. no fucking way she woudnt have stalled it. i stalled my subaru somewhat regularly when i had a stage 3 clutch, and im male.
 
exactly. any time someone drives my car for the first time....BAM....stalled. Stage 3 clutch takes some getting used to.

Or maybe they edited the stalls out of the video....?

If my mom can handle her s6, I think I would trust her in something like that. Then again I was hesitant to let her drive my vr6, mostly because she is a silly blonde.
 
its pretty fucking hard. anyone who disagrees either burns through clutches or is straight lying. im now involved in this car thread.
 
She's not driving that thing every day, all she had to do was get it rolling. We don't know how long she was riding it either.
 
the engage point on a performance clutch is very tight or specific vs very loose on a regular clutch, so if you aren't used to it, you'll likely stall it a time or two until you get the hang of it.

and to Dustin - no shit it's not that hard....it just takes some getting used to. my point was they played this off like this was her first time driving that car and i'm calling bullshit. she was too on point with that clutch for her to be a first timer.

either they edited out the stalls, she's driven that care before, or she has some other performance car experience of some sort.

my grandma is a badass she drove a 73 V8 cuda perfectly once without having driven a manual transmission in like 30 years
 
Maybe she knows how to fucking drive well. I've driven performance clutch and I never stalled and I rarely drive stick.

The latter. She traded in her gay as aids solara for it used, 90k. Its funny cause her boyfriend drives an old s8 and the car im saving up for is mostl likely gonna be an s4 after my vdub dies. She actually drives that car crazier than I do but ai guess thats just woman drivers.
