Mojo 80 Questions?

Hey everyone,

Ive been given the opportunity to pick up some head Mojo 80's for a great price (180$ CAD if you must know), but I have some questions. Ive searchbar'd, but Im not comming up with the answers i'm after.

Im wondering how stiff they are? Im currently on last years Ar6's, so if you could relate it to those, that would be great.

How durrable are they? I understand head is known for being bombproof, but do these skis fall under this catagory?

I plan to purchase the 181's. Im 5'10 and 165lbs or so. Not a super aggressive skier, but I like to think I am. Ive already delamed my Ar6's if that means anything, and I just want a ski that will hold up well on rails and jumps.

Im not sure what year they are, but apparently they are a special edition topsheet.

Yeah, ive read they are quite stiff.

But, are they durrable? Im so tired of Armada's and their constant chipping.
 
i have mojo 80s and i love them. The topsheets do get scratched, but theres no chipping or anything. The bases are great, but one thing i found is that wax comes off pretty fast, but that just might be the kind of wax im using.

performance wise thier great. But uless your a 300 pound gorilla wearing SPKs, your not gonna be buttering in these. Their also very light, which is awsome. I have mine mounted 3 back from recommended, which i think is like 4 back from core. I really like where mine are mounted, but i could have had them maybe a cm ahead.

these things also love going really fast.

I was actually looking into the Mojo spawn 1 or the J.O Pro...reviews for these as well as stores that sell them are just soo hard to find and I almost ruled them out...anyone know if these are:

1) ever centermounted? in other words are they true twin tips?

2) really durable? ( I have heard mixed messages)

3)on par with Volkl Walls? or am I just comparing different skis?

your answers might sway me to buy a pair...probably with the Mojo 15 bindings and then write a review on em...
 
oh and also....I heard the difference between the Spawn 1 and the JO Pro was just the graphics...can anyone confirm this? I saw one online store selling them both and the JO Pro was $200 bones more...

 
damn i keep forgetting something else...

I'm 5'6" 165lbs...since I haven't been able to find these at a store, I'm guessing the 169cm are ok? Maybe better off with the 160cm? I feel as though the only reason why I havent bought these is becuase no one I have met at stores have been able to answer anything about these skis
