i know that the white ones are slightly turntable and the black ones are not but i am wondering if the white ones are any safer. if so why
 
yea the white ones (last years and any previous years) have like 270 degree lateral release or something like that. They would be safer in a twisting fall, which is why so many people like fks and p series bindings. I don't know why Tyrolia decided to get rid of that technology in the 15, I think it is still in the new peak 12.
