Mogul Skiing

what do you think are the best mogul skis?

I'm interested in getting a pair of twin tips, but I want a pair that will be good in he bumps too

The Rossi scratch fs makes an awesome mogul ski. Pretty much any park ski that is under 90 in the waist will be pretty good at moguls. the Ar6, scratch fs, troublemakers, spks or any of those would probably be a fine choice.

bumps are fun, but I'm scared ill tear an acl or something. call me a pussy, but i would die if i couldn't ski.

Having torn my ACL this past season, I'm regret to admit that I probably won't be spending too much time in the bumps in the near future. Being mellow on rails is more like it.

i have the scratch fs's and they are good in the bumps. so are my ak enemies because they pop off and into the next one.

i love rippin bumps thus the sn... i skied scratches all year and i loved em. yea they kill your knees i usually cant walk after a good weekend of skiing bumps

i am amazingly suprised on how none hateful this thread is. on that note, bumps are fun but they dont live up to rails and jumps in my opinion. but they are pretty fun at times

whiteface is the world cup destination. lower wilderness is the name of the trail. it is one of my favorite runs of all time. i skied that trail this year more that i hit jumps, thats how good it is... and to answer the question about a good bump ski, the silencer is supposed to be good. i ski 169 06 PE's in the bumps and they are great. And i think the AR6 is also good too

man, ilove the bumps, and used to compete. nothing is much more fun than ripping down a perfect line with soft snow. i had to give it up though because training bumps four days a week was just too hard on my knees and body. still tons of fun though

i hate bumps where i live because they are all ice(PA) but i do like to ski them when their is a little bit of snow on them,

if you get good at skiing ice bumps you can ski bumps anywhere in the country, and when you ski nice soft bumps you put everyone else to shame

If you keep thinking like that you'll end up inside on the couch for fear of getting hurt. You can take a gnarly digger without injury and a stupid fall messing around and tear your ACL. That's how I did my ACL. First run, opening day, fell weird, blown knee. But, you just can't think like that or all the fun you used to gave gets replaced with paranoia.

ive never skied a proper bumbs course but i would imagine that it fucking kills your thighs and knees, however if you can ski them properly then it looks sick

theyre pretty oldschool
