for a regular ps2, i'd suggest the swapmagic3.3 cds. its like $24 and doesn't require any soldering (you do need this slider card thing that opens your ps2, unless you do it a ghetto way that i don't know how). then you can just download games from torrents (solops2.com has working ps2 .iso files, but its in spanish...). for a slim ps2, you need a flip top lid, which is like $30. overall i have like 8 burned games, so i think i made my money back.

yo antadam so if i get this Ghost 2 Mod Chip G2 install it i can play burt p2 games, right , but if i want to copy games to a harddrive can i do that? and does the x-box work better for moding

ohh shit all the mod chips do is allow you to play burnt ps2 games???

if so i am wondering how to load games onto your ps2 for any time gaming with out discs

you have to be good at soldering otherwise you might need to buy a new ps2. just take it somewhere and get it done... its like 100 bucks cad. and you save your money as soon as you burn like two games.

to a ps2 repair place? i take mine to this chinese mall near where i go to school

dude first off you do not have to be good at soldering... all your doing is making a connection between a contact and a wire.

i did my xbox all night long fucking wasted and smoking madd herb... we smoked a good quarter of blueberries and were drinking mass and it worked first time with my box.

although i do work with circuits in school i had never soldered, we used breadbords that you jsut stick the wire in and shit. so i just bought an iron and the right solder and went at it. there were about 17 connection points i had to solder in the box and its easy.

just have soemone hold the wire where you need it and stick the solder ironnear and the put the solder on the point and touch the iron to it for a sec. u will see it melt and then just pull the iron and solder away and whala instantly dries and the wire is attached. just be sure to check your point 2 times before you actually solder making sure you have the right conenction.
