do you guys know the story of their latest album?

this crazy guy who I guess used to be a member of the band ran away and no one knows where he is and all the sudden they started getting letters from him of music that he had written and the newest album is an inturpritation of the music he wrote

All I know is that I saw them live a few weeks ago in San Francisco and they played 3 or 4 new songs and they sounded so fucking good I can't wait for a new album, which I hear should be around spring time. I'm sure you guys know this as well but the Ugly Cassanova album is sweet also.

modest mouse's music has great flow. if you listen to the words of the songs they make sense unlike alot of the new bands. they are hands down the best band

My g/f made me a mix cd yesterday with MM on it. I try to listen but it just seems obnoxious to me... I've approached it with an open mind but, I just can't stand it.... To each their own... It's just not for me. I imagine there's Modest Mouse on MTV though, the more I think about it.
