So i just picked up tickets to see them in detroit. Anyone ever been to one of their concerts before. I heard that the sound different in concert no like their CD. Is this true? But I am excited to see them non the less...

i saw them this summer at the gorge. they were AWESOME live. they had two drummers, two guitars, sometimes banjo, upright bass, trumpet on a couple songs. they really pulled off a great show- i was impressed. they also played songs from a wide variety of their albums, which was nice.

I saw them in SF last winter. They had the most instruments I've ever seen on a stage at once.

2 drumsets? like 50 guitars? which they didnt even use about 47 of them?

they had a freaking cabinet full of random shit man.. they busted out an oboe AND a squeezebox.

i was impressed at the musical versitility they have.

its in "happy happy" the helly hanson movie,

got it for free when i bought a jacket....

its not bad, pollard kills it as usual

When I saw them live, they were absolutely horrible. They played only a few songs, were not into it at all and did not come out for an encore. They are very hot and cold with live performances apparently. Too bad for me.

Damn.. where did you see them and what kind of show was it? were they headlining?

if they were headlining, I'd be super pissed off too.. especially because now I've seen how awesome they were (they did a pretty sick encore.. playing Dashboard and Ocean Breathes Salty.

pretty sure issaquah*(dont know the spelling).

When i saw them they were dope, even though a few shows later Brock cut himself with a knife at a show. I really dig them live and was impressed because Ive heard of horror stories when my friends saw them.

I love the band, i want to see them live

my friends saw them, they said the lead singer smashed his guitar in the middle of spitting venom(one of my all time favorite songs) so the band had to improv while he got a new guitar
