Modest Mouse

I am pumped. Whenever I hear Modest mouse it reminds me of a killer ski trip to blue mountain. The Shins is another band I love that is coming out with new stuff soon (or is supposed to)
 
you can already get teh new shins cd. just search winching the night away torrent. its really good. so many bands have new stuff coming out in 07 or are at least in the studio, clap your hands is out, modest mouse, arcade fire, possible postal service, wilco, bright eyes, radiohead and way more
 
too bad good news sucked compared to their older stuff...i expect more bullshit poppy music on this album for some reason
 
the old stuff may be original, but it just doesnt flow, and isnt musically appealing for the most parts. some of them are great, but most of it is shitty.
 
I was increadibly stoked about their new album, especialy when i heard that the ex-smiths guitarist joined the band but after hearing the single off of it " dashboard" im already disapointed. If Modest Mouse keeps going the in the direction that they did with Good News, they are going to become an aweful pop-rock band.

I fucking love Modest Mouse, so stoked for the Album.

The new Bloc Party album is pretty good, not as good as Silent Alarm but still not bad.
 
So stoked on life with the new modest mouse album. ALL of their albums are amazing, if you've only listened to Good News, then id suggest doing your homework on a band until you can call yourself a fan. Dashboard is a dope song though.
 
I dont think you need to do homework on a band to say your a fan. if you like any of thier music your a fan in some way.
