Modern Warfare 2 Leaderboard Reset?

I am curious if this is true. I have heard both. I know many arent to thrilled about this but i am because my friends decided to fuck my account. I will be in favor of this because i was just messing around on the game getting to know the maps etc.
My question you guys is does any one know for sure whats happening?
 
i have heard that rumor also i would think that woould be a good idea considering the fact that im guessing the people who hacked the game are probably 10th prestige but ya never knnow
 
The leaderboards will be reset the day before the launch to make sure there are no unfair advantages for the pirates.

The Xbox 360 is trying very hard to kick the PC from it's throne as

most pirated platform. The game was pirated and released on the

Internet a couple of days back and many (MANY) players have already

been playing Modern Warfare 2 almost two weeks before it's official

release. A quick search for Modern Warfare 2 on Youtube will give you

tons of videos of gameplay, but watch it as some contain massive

spoilers.

Now that all those players already got a head start on the rest of

us, still waiting for the game to be released, Infintiy Ward will reset

all leaderboards to make things fair again:

yea, just brace yourselves for the losers that are gonna camp because they want a good k/d ratio and high streaks.

shits gonna get frustrating.
 
I will never be a camper who cares about my K/D ratio. I will run and gun like a crazy fool, and people will see me and say, "who's that idiot?" but i won't care because i'll have way more fun haha
