I think it is important that we all recognize why today is a holiday. Today we recognize one of the greatest Americans to ever live. What he stood for and how he lived is something to be admired. He fought, and died, for what was right.

Today, while youre enjoying your day off, you should think about why you have today off.

I am thankful for Martin Luther King Jr. Without him society would not permit me to be in the relationship I am. She is black and I am white but more importantly we are both people. People who are exacly equal and I love her entirely.
