Yo,

I have a question, can anyone pllllllease tell me the answer:

You know like on the back of a album cover for a band like a punk band egg:lagwagon, beside were it says who writes the l;yrics and shit, it says 'mixed by so and so' you know?

What does that mean with a none techno band.you know just like a normal band where they don't use scratching and stuff, what does it mean? 'mixing'?

is it like what order they put the songs in or something? i dunno, please help i am very curious to know.

naw that means, well, in lamens terms- in the recordning studio, they have those big huge mixers (knobs and dials and faders) well when recording someone is there, doing everything they can to make them sound as best as possible. bands pay someone to do it at their live shows also

they are constantly messing with all aspects of the sound coming from the band.
