mix matched bindings

has any body ever mixe matched bindings for a older pair of rock skis?

the back part of one of my bindings broke and the same thing happened to my brothe but up front

so i have a set of rossignol bindings for the toe piece and salamons on the heel piece?

will this blow up in my face? meh ill try it anyway just rock/rail skis... oh will a ski shop even mount them for me or will they tell me to go lick myself?

 
the only problem i can forsee is the front and back might be at the same elevation off the ski. i would check that out so your boot wont be leaning forward or backward.

You're probably not going to find a shop that will do it for you (for liability reasons.) And besides, they'd have to use two different jigs to mount the front and back. You're probably going to have to do a little ghetto home mount. Who knows. Good luck.

ive done it mayn times, i had 3 kinds of bindings on an old short pair of skis, it was great
