Mitts or gloves

i got frost bite the other day and i dont plan on getting it again so i gather mitts would be my best bet for staying warm?
 
i always feel like i cant get a good grip on my poles wearing mitts so i usually wear bob gnarleys unless its wicked cold i say fugit and wear a mitten
 
glove shel> no liner, my hands don't get cold unless soaking wet and in -35ish celcius. don't ask why, i just do9nt get cold
 
i use gloves down to like 15 degrees, and colder and i break out the mitts. its worth it too cus you've got toasty fingers even if sometimes its a little harder to grab.
 
Same here. If it's above 10-15 degrees I wear gloves. Any colder and the cheap Gordini mittens come out and keep my hands very warm.
 
Gloves cos I never ski in minus a million degrees. And mitts make it look like you have no hands.
 
I am very surprised that so many people wear mitts. For those of you that do wear them, do they hinder you at all when skiing off piste and what not?? (I have never tried mittens)
 
You will feel akward at first. It takes some getting used to not being able to move your fingers apart much, but your hands will stay so warm it is worth it when it is really cold.
 
gloves mostly cause they're soo easy to put on and take off, but if its nasty out..i use mitts
 
is there a difference? cuz all i kno is that mitts are made out of fabric, and gloves are made out of synthetic crap... anyway.. i go for gloves..
