Mittens vs. Gloves

My hands get cold pretty easily so I'm thinking about rocking mittens this season. Anybody like using them. I'm sure they'll keep my hands warmer. But how much dexterity will i be losing? Any of you guys find it harder to grab with them? I mean i normally grab with all 4 fingers anyways, but idk. What's everyones thoughts?

 
Very good topic man. Personally I cant wear mittens because I grab with my pointer and middle fingers only. but I want to try grabbing with four fingers because it seems easier and then i can finally where mittens. for some reason though it seems like cheating to me... i dont know, maybe because ur not holding ur poles seperate or something. how does everybody else grab? 4 or 2?
 
Dude i have grenade mitten, and they are not made of scientific products to make them warm, its jsut a mitten with a pipe gloves under and it was serioulsly fucking warm. I live in quebec, so sometimes we have -25° degrees conditions and it was amazingly warm. Plus, I have only grenade mitten(which is not super high quality but still dope)so if you gets mittens from dakine or other compagnys like that, it will be super warm. And by the way, you shgould try to get somme mittens with gloves inside because its a great 2 in 1 (as i said, with my mitts i hap a pair of pipe gloves, so it was super for spring riding)
 
i role mittens but they have liners in so i take off just the mitten to do stuff and my fingers wont be numb when i put them back in the mitten
 
and by the way its not that difficult to grab...but you will be obligated to use your 4 finger all the time, which is not a bad thing
 
i wear mittine and grab with four fingers, its easier for me and warmer. i guess thats just how i learned and now im used to it.
 
gloves...mittens remind me of when my dad used to bury me in snow then kick me and tell me to find my way out

mittens are deff warmer but i would always prefer gloves u would just have to get like super warm ones from Dakine
 
mittens are sooo much better. i have real neat onces that are Analog and have fur around the edges, very cute and warm. they are the way to go!!!!
 
i have mittens and gloves, i prefer gloves when im going to be a bum and stay in the park all day, mittens deffinatley make it harder for you to grab, but they keep your hands way warmer then gloves, what i do sometimes is i get those thin little gloves every has for 99 cents at the dollar store or whatever, and wear them with my glovs, it actually works pretty well
 
dont getta mitten... just getta better glove... i no what u mean... so i won these dakine gloves inna comp... never been cold since... there the DK dry or something like that... like the best glove ive ever owned
