Um I was just wounder what every ones thoughts are on how hard it is to do a misty, I'm thinking of trying one this weekend??

Me and my freinds are talking....

there actually not that hard. you just need plenty of air. if you can do a perfect front of the jump just go off with the same motion. if your spinning left use your right arm to start your flip and use your left arm behind your back to start your spin.

 
the key to misty's is taking off...then spinning..if you start your spin on the takeoff, you're gonna get screwed up...jump up, with both hands up, then tuck up and throw your right hand across your body (or left depending) if you wanna get the extra 180 to land forward...lead your body with your other hand (if you throw right, use your left) and keep your head looking...now stick and ride out clean

 
seems pocket rocket has the main idea.... they are really easy i think.... just hit a jump with a lot of air b/c doing hucked ones look ugly hehe just float it out easy :)

 
Misty's are the easiest invert for me. You just trow youre body to the side and it spin's the flip by itself, for a 7, do a bigger jump.

 
Its not hard, for me its so natural, I dont even think about the rotation anymore. Definitely try it on a tramp first, misties arent hard to take to the snow. Oh, you may come up short and land way forward, just cover up your face cuz your skis will likely pop off and could hit you in the face.

...sorry, not to scare you from doing it, but just be aware that this can happen, but you should feel if you are going to land like this so youll know.

haha thats what happend to me execpt the ski thing, but ya my face was messed up for away but now I'm pretty again...

Ok, I know every one's name but no one no's mine.. SO its Darren... lol, I'm drunk.
 
I did my first misty by trying an off axis spin while grabbing mute.
